One of the pillars that Delta Sigma Pi is built on is Community Service. We believe that members of this business fraternity should not only strengthen those within Delta Sigma Pi, but also strengthen those in the community around us. Giving back is a huge opportunity to help others, all while growing as individuals. We can do this through community service. Community service is also an opportunity for brothers to bond. By working alongside each other, members grow in relationships with one another and build relationships throughout the community.
Our brothers serve members of our campus, our community, and those around the world. Some of the organizations Delta Sigma Pi volunteers for locally are the Lafayette Urban Ministry, Food Finders Food Bank, the YWCA, and the Salvation Army. Delta Sigma Pi also participates in the Purdue University Dance Marathon. Since this program has been started, it has raised over 4 million dollars for Riley Hospital for Children. Our brothers also put on a blood drive at Purdue where brothers donate blood and give other students and faculty an opportunity to donate blood as well. Community service is a big part of Delta Sigma Pi. The act of community service helps define our brothers and the fraternity as a whole.
